We know that throughout each and every day we experience a wide range of emotions. We know there are times we will feel strong emotions and that it is perfectly human and okay to feel these feelings. We also know that our feelings are not an excuse to lash out and hurt others. Instead of being a victim, we need to be the master of our feelings and emotions.
Yesterday we discussed our 'Think, Pause' strategies. Today we are asking students to think about and share something they do that is calming and peaceful. For example, you might find it calming to read a particular book, do some mindful drawing, listen to music or play a relaxing video game. We are looking forward to seeing your responses!
