Welcome back to another week of remote learning! We are very excited to see students continue to share their outstanding work, remember to put as much effort as you can into your tasks this week and to share them with your classroom teacher.
We know that our brains are wired to scan for danger to keep us safe, however sometimes this means it is easier for us to see the negative. We can get stuck in a pattern of only focusing on the bad parts of our day, which can quickly lead to a bad or unproductive attitude. The good news is that we can train our brains to look for the positive too, this is called being a positive detective.
This week we are beginning the journey to being positive detectives. To get started we are asking students to share something good that happened today. Perhaps you noticed you had a nice, warm blanket, a roof over your head, a caring family member or friend, or access to breakfast to start your day.
Have a great week of remote learning! The Senior Team Teachers.
