Canberra Camp - 2023

Medications can be handed into the front office on Friday. Alternatively medications can be handed to Mr Slocombe on Monday morning.

The camp will run from Monday the 5th of June through to Wednesday the 7th of June. It is important that students are at school by 6:30am on Monday morning, at the latest. Students will need to see their classroom teacher to have their name marked on the roll upon arrival before meeting their day group leader and loading their luggage onto the bus.

Please make sure your child has packed a drink bottle, morning tea and lunch for Monday.

Over the course of the three days students will visit the following attractions:

• The Australian War Memorial.
• The Australian Institute of Sport.
• Embassy Drive.
• The National Electoral Education Centre.
• Questacon.
• Parliament House.
• National Capital Exhibition.
• The Royal Australian Mint.
• The High Court of Australia.

Please note that students will need to pack their full school uniform. This will be worn on Tuesday when we visit Parliament House.

Canberra is going to be cold, please pack and dress appropriately. On Monday we will be visiting the War Memorial, we ask students to ensure the clothing they choose to wear is both warm and appropriate for this respectful space.
