Students can have mixed feelings as they begin to think about embarking on their journey into secondary education. While it will be exciting to make new friends and engage in new classes, students can become worried about not fitting in or being unsure about the different routines and structures. To support students from Melrose Primary School, we have a central space where parents can find important information about secondary education in Wodonga.

Your child will be provided with an Application for Year 7 Placement which must be completed and returned to Melrose Primary School by Friday the 10th of May.
IMPORTANT: To ensure a smooth transition process, please complete the transition application form that was sent home with your child. In the event that form has been lost and there is not time to collect a spare from the school office, you can download and print the blank form above.

On your application form, in Section 4A, enter your designated school, including the campus.
Then, in Section 4B, list the government schools, in order of preference, you would like your child to attend.
