Welcome to the Area Two EQ Assembly for 2018
Our assembly will be held on Friday the 1st of June at 9am. Parents are invited to join us in the multi-purpose room to watch our assembly about self regulation. We know that throughout a single day we feel a wide range of emotions, which can be very powerful and difficult to navigate at times. While managing our emotions can be difficult, they are under no circumstances an excuse for poor behaviour or disrespectful talk. Through daily mindfulness practice and identifying effective think-pause strategies, we are able to ensure we give our thinking brain time to catch up when things get though. We know we have to be smart with our emotions. We know that our words, our actions are our responsibility, and we are capable of making strong choices. Our thoughts and feelings must always pass through the check point of our thinking brain before being released as words or actions.
