2026 Victorian State School Spectacular
Expressions of Interest are now open for families of students currently enrolled in Year 3, 4 and 5 who would like to participate in the
2026 Victorian State Schools Spectacular. This is an incredible opportunity for students to join thousands of peers from Government
schools across Victoria to celebrate the performing arts.
Our school typically participates in the Mass Choir and Mass Dance sections. The cost is usually between $450 and $500, and covers all expenses, including regional rehearsals, accommodation, transport, costume hire and meals.
The show will be held at John Cain Arena on Saturday the 29th of August 2026.
Any additional questions can be sent to: [email protected]

Melrose Primary School would like to acknowledge the support of Charles Sturt University and their Community Partnership Program. Rural students face additional challenges compared to their city counterparts, including financial costs for transport and accomodation. We are very grateful for the support from Charles Sturt University to help address regional disadvantage.
